Northeast US (Mass. to Delaware)

In late 2017 through 2018, AW Martin Construction, Inc. led a remediation of a toxic chemical coating used in 300+ high-end, new-construction residential homes. Workers used personal protective equipment, including face masks, respirators, full body suits and proper ventilation of work areas to keep them safe during this work.

Residential Home in Mercer County

A large tree fell on this house during a torrential thunderstorm. The tree damaged 75% of the roof system and flooded the 2nd floor bathrooms, two bedrooms, hallway and stairs. On the first floor, the foyer and kitchen were damaged and water soaked through the floor into the basement. All rooms’ drywall & flooring was removed except in the basement where only the flooring was removed.

Basement Flooding in Middlesex County in New Jersey

In this project, there was multi units basement floodind as a result of failure in submersible pumps on both units. When we arrived, the flat roof had 2 feet of water. We were there in less than 2 hours when the flooding was found by the tenants and land lord. Within the next 10 hours, we deployed twenty men over a 5-day period drying out, mitigating and then remediating for mold. 90% of the office area required removal of drywall 1 ft up from the floor and removal of the carpet to help with the drying process.

Commercial Machine Shop in Mercer County

In this project, a large machine shop was flooded as a result of a severe storm and a clogged roof drain. When we arrived, the flat roof had 15 inches of water. This water was raining down into the machine shop, flooding 4000 square feet of machinery, specialized equipment and office space. We deployed twenty men over a 5-day period drying out, mitigating and then remediating for mold. 80% of the office area required removal of drywall 1 ft up from the floor and removal of the carpet to help with the drying process.

The following photos show examples of rebuilds following substantial water and/or mold mitigation projects.
